   Cassius - the greatest

History of eye ulcer

Let me introduce myself - my name is Cassius (yes, like the great boxer Cassius Clay aka Muhammad Ali - although for the life of me, I can't imagine why he'd want to change his awesome name??!) Much like him, you might think I'm the greatest dog....I might be 9 years young, but I've got plenty of life left in me.

I would be perfectly suited for a low to normal activity home - I don't particularly need long walks - sadly, my running days are behind me. I'm quite content to greet you enthusiastically at the door (I will astound you with the speed of my tail). I am happy to sleep close to you while you're watching tv or reading. And I will make you laugh out loud when I sit on my back.

I've lived with other dogs for years and years and enjoy having my own kind to hang out with. I occasionally didn't see eye to eye with the other male in my former home, but looooooove the lady dogs. I've lived with a cat, but my owner had to work VERY hard for me to accept this inferior creature. I'm pretty good heeling - oh, and I tend to not do my #2 business while on walks - I would rather go in the dog run or yard before or after. Now just imagine how great it would be to walk a dog and NOT carry around a tied shopping bag of you know what. Yup, go back to the statement 'greatest dog'!

So, that's me in a nutshell....laid back, easy going dog that will get crazy excited when you come home, won't be too demanding for walks - if you've had a rough day, I will happily miss my walk. It goes without saying that at my age I don't have a desire to eat shoes or furniture. But will give endless kisses and love.
