My name is Fawnzee (the "Fawnz") and this is my partner in crime, Holly. I'm a 7 year old fawn male and Holly is also 7 years old, but she is brindle. We've been together so long now that we can't imagine being apart – 6 years if you can believe it! Longer than many marriages! Our mom loves us so much but just isn't able take care of us anymore. That makes us both really sad, but we know there is someone out there who has the time to take us for walks and give us lots and lots of attention.

We both love to cuddle and don't ever get sick of it. Our mom used to sleep with us both in one bed until she woke up too many times on the floor…we tend to stretch out a lot at night. Now we have our own bed (our plan worked). Our mom says that despite the fact we're left alone a lot lately, we are REALLY great dogs. We do get excited when people come to the door so sometimes we'll jump up, but we tend to calm down pretty quickly now that we're a bit older and wiser. We are really good around kids although when we get too excited sometimes we can knock our little friends over. Our 2 ½ year old "human sister" can back this up although she's always happy to receive our kisses when she falls down. She gets back at us by climbing all over and sitting on us, but we like the attention.

Our dog walker says we are really great dogs too and learn really quickly. I'm not so happy when I see other dogs and get a little overprotective of my partner, Holly. She's more laid back and just gets mad at me when I do that. I don't know why I'm like that since I used to play with all kinds of dogs, big and small when I was younger. We're both pretty good with fetch although we won't always bring it back right away. It's just so much more fun watching you chase us. I tend to tire somewhat quickly when going for long walks lately, although I'm sure once I'm out more this would get better. I'm not as young as I used to be, you know!

Aside from cuddle time, snack time is also another favourite. We love our treats and will do different simple tricks although we won't usually put in the effort if there isn't a reward. If you show us a treat we'll show you a paw, even if you haven't asked for it!

Don't be afraid of us if you come to the door, we're just saying hi but don't worry, once you come in we'll just shower you with kisses. Bad people don't know that though so our mom says we make great watchdogs.

We're hoping that there is a happy home out there where there are lots of cuddles, walks and treats. We promise that we won't disappoint you and have told our mom that we'll make her proud. Give us a chance and we'll show you!
