| Boxer Rescue Ontario is run solely by volunteers and by donations and money raised through fundraising events. We are going to start posting how much money was spent on the dogs in our program. Sadly, our adoption fees do not even come close to what is spent on some dogs. Please consider donating today, buying some BRO merchandise or participate at one of our many fundraising events. | |||

Judge is a sweet little man, only 10 months old and only 35lbs!!! Yes he is a pure bred CKC registered English Bulldog. Through no fault of his own he is looking for a special home. He was born with a disability, spina bifida. He has a curve in his spine. The weird thing is Judge plays and runs, and is just a normal dog for the most part. His weakness is his bladder and bowel control. He just has no idea on when he is going. So he wears a diaper when running around inside and has a sectioned off area | ||
| to sleep in that is easily cleaned over night. With a good diet and a schedule he only poops once a day. He is also, due to a weakened immune system, fighting Demodex. When the Demodex is under control he will be neutered and placed into a loving forever home. We are currently looking for either a foster to adopt home or a full adoptive home. This family must know he will never be "housebroken"...he is like a disabled child and will need special care for life. Judge is in love with other dogs, cats and children in fact you could not get a better mannered dog with children! We would ask the family to have children 8yrs and up, just so they know they can not rough house with the little guy. He does not chew, other then his toys and is not a barker, unless really excited! Good with Dogs? yes but not one who would expect him to play etc. Housing? All types, fully fenced yard Crate? He has been in one in the car, not thrilled but ok with a bone or something to keep him busy Sleep with humans? yes he loves to snuggle Time dog is alone? he is not alone often at present, is not destructive or overly noisy but will bark (especially at animal noises or some bell sounds from TV or computer) Special diet needs: None known - currently he gets 1/3 c of Acana Pacifica twice daily with some water in it, treats are also grain-free House training:Pretty good, may have accidents sometimes when alone |
