Don't let their grey hair fool you, Jersey and Piper are sweet, easy to get along with, energetic dogs who would be a great match for an active family. These girls would love a home with a large yard to run and play in as well as have owners who have time to walk with them everyday. Jersey (10) is calm and in charge. Piper (9) is a wiggly ball of energy that especially loves and seeks out human attention.

Jersey and Piper are gentle, well behaved dogs that know their basic commands and can be left loose indoors without destruction. They get along with people and would do fine in a house with or without kids. They love to play with toys (especially balls), go for long walks, and even want to run occassionally.

Jersey and Piper would do brest in a home where they are the only dogs. They are not aggressive or reactive to other dogs that pass during walks; however they are nervous when other dogs come into their close personal space while on leash. They fostered with a cat, Piper and Jersey showed that they are curious, but in control, responsive to commands, and show little to no prey drive. If the adoptive family has a cat they need to be prepared to manage introductions and provide positive reinforcement to ensure the dog knows the rules.

Piper and Jersey will quickly win your heart over and be great companions for you.
