It has been a while since I last wrote, things were so great with Billy but two weeks ago he became mysteriously ill. Several trips to the vet, and many tests could not definitively point to the cause. Early this morning Billy was struggling with his breathing, and then died peacefully in my arms. We will be taking him up to my farm tomorrow to bury him.

I know Billy lived a short but very full and loving life, and his final moments were no different. Josh and I and all our family will miss him greatly! It will take some time to mourn Billy, but I am sure I will be reaching out to you again in the future to open our hearts once more to a lovely rescue Boxer!
