Matty St. Claire Baird AKA Matty. 1998-2007

Matty arrived at our home in February 2001, coming from a farm where she would get apples off the tree by herself. She would curl up on the couch and bed, and she had also learned to let us know when she wanted back in the house (barking). Matty even let her human daddy know when she had to go out by coming around the side of the bed. She was kind of Bossy, but saw the humor in it. When Trooper our other Boxer arrived in the family in June 2002, she still ran things, being in the household first. We loved her so much!

She left us in June 2007, having an irregular heartbeat and a Brain Tumor. We were with her right up till the end, it was a very heartbreaking thing to watch, but I know we'll be with her in the hereafter someday.
