Success Stories 2002
Big
Buster was found as a stray and his new family just can't believe
someone didn't come to claim him. Buster now gets to run and play
in the country. His new mom thinks he's a model and just can't stop
taking pictures of all the cute things he does.
Sweet
little Ellie loves her new human siblings, she plays all day long
and stops only long enough to snuggle with her "kids". Ellie loves life
with her new family and they think she's just the best!
Only
moments from death Frankie, now known as Brandy, was our beautiful
Georgia girl who travelled over two days to reach us. Within days of arriving
on Canadian soil a family saw her picture and heard her story and just
knew Brandy had to join their family. She now wiles away her hours lounging
on her person's bed, playing with her doggie boyfriend across the street
and getting all the hugs and cuddles a beautiful girl deserves. Brandy
is a true rescue success story!
What
can we say about Rocky? Well, for starters he has his own website!
Rocky's family is so enamoured of their boy that friends and family can
track his progress and activities on the web. This is one spoiled boxer
boy. Congratulations Rocky!
Thor,
AKA Bosley is one happy guy! He now lives with his two new sisters
- Victoria and Sugar. His new family enjoys the way he keeps them warm
at night while they snuggle on the couch watching T.V. Sugar never knew
having a Boxer brother could be so much fun!
Holly
& Maggie met in the shelter and became best of friends. They enjoyed
each others company so much they went to their new home together. These
sweet girls love nothing more than giving kisses and showing off their
Boxer wiggles.
Jake
came to us at 10 months after his original owner tried to find a new home
for him when they could no longer keep him. Jake's puppy energy was a
bit much for his new owner who suffered from emphysema, so she called
Boxer Rescue to try and find him a new home. Jake has found his forever
home with a loving family in Brampton. Jake has become the centre of attention,
and even Mitts the cat has accepted him.
Jewel,
the beautiful girl, came to us because nobody was able to handle
her. We found a wonderful home with a kind patient mom and even an older
fur brother to play with. She is doing great and is everything her adoptive
family every wanted. Her original name was Chocolate but because she is
so precious her adoptive home changed her name to Jewel, which is exactly
what she is.
When
Abby come to us she was in pretty poor shape. Her previous owners
hadn't bothered to treat a minor medical condition which resulted in major
problems. However, in a few short weeks with her new family Abby was on
the mend and they now describe her as a "100% different girl." They are
thrilled with Abby and she with them. Another match made in heaven.
Bacchus
was one of our most popular rescues ever. Everybody was interested in
him! Lucky Bacchus was adopted by a fantastic couple in Oakville and he
shares his life with two very spoiled kitties. Bacchus enjoys ripping
around his backyard, going on many long walks in the ravine and greeting
everyone he meets with a big smile and a wiggling bum.
Max,
formerly known as Woody, came to us from a shelter we know and we couldn't
believe his owners never went looking for him. He was adopted by a family
with a huge property for him to roam around on. His family tells us Max
keeps them laughing with his silly antics and they can't remember what
it was like before Max filled their lives with joy. Way to go Max! |
