Belle was adopted by a wonderful young family that can show her so much love. Belle is also now the sister of Nakida…her boxer mix friend. Her family wrote the following:

As soon as I saw Belle, I knew that I had to take her home… Belle is such a delight… her and Nakida could play all day long “if we let them”. We live close to Ottawa which is cold for a boxer girl with not a lot of hair so we bought her 3 new winter coats. Belle loves her winter walks with her sister….they have so much fun. All I can say is that we are now the happiest of families since we adopted Belle… our lives were not complete without her… she will be the most spoiled dog there can be… Thanks again Boxer Rescue…Belle is the PERFECT dog for us.

Lucky Bailey didn't last long in rescue. He was adopted by a great family in Northern Ontario and he spends his days roaring through the woods with his boxer "brother" and dad who takes him to work. Bailey's new family is enjoying his antics and the pleasures of having two boxer boys in the house. Congratulations Bailey!

Tanner got a new home for the holidays. Tanner's success story comes courtesy of her new mom. She reports: "Tanner melts your heart with her hugs. We laugh a lot with her and we cuddle a lot with her and play a lot. We have been constantly learning new things with Tanner and she is giving us a lot of joy. I don't know how we went so long without the cuddles and kisses. She is quite a lady and she is so soft. She just loves it if you rub the top of her head and between her eyes. The boys really love her." It certainly sound like little Miss Tanner has wormed her way into the hearts of her new family. You go girl!

Brutus: Hi my name is Lynn, my husband Stan and I would just like to let you know how happy we are with our loving Brutus, he has helped fill the gap left by our beloved Chelsea who passed away last April. Our boston terrier Dyno has welcomed Brutus and again has someone to play with and just be friends with. Brutus has adjusted well and has claimed our hearts and our love seat in front of the fireplace. He is very affectionate and a wonderful addition to our family.Thank you so much!

Poor Dweeb or lucky Dweeb? Dweeb's owner died very suddenly and Dweeb found himself without a place to call home since no one in the family wanted him. What an awful thing to do to a friend of 10 years! Some kind people contacted us and we were glad to help. We placed Dweeb in a wonderful foster home and lo and behold he never made it out! Dweeb's foster family fell in love with his silly ways and loving personality and Dweeb found his forever family after all. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Lucky Dweeb indeed!
