My name is Angel (that's me with the cropped ears) and I'm in heaven. On Boxing Day I met my new brother and then went for a very long drive from my foster home to my forever home to a place called Orleans. My Mom and Dad got me new toys, new collar and a new leash and we love going for walks in the snow. However, in January my brother and I don't stay out for very long since it has been so cold. I can't wait for the summer when I can run rings around my somewhat overweight brother Ben. We get along very well and he knows that I am the perfect sister for him. We share everything, including all of the faces that we can kiss and kiss. I am so happy that I now have a family of my own.

Hi everyone! I know, I know it's been quite a while - I'm going to be celebrating one year in my happy home soon. I have just been too busy having fun with my mom and dad and sister (another great boxer). It took me a little while to settle in but my mom and dad said that this would be my "forever home" and they just kept working with me. We went to a trainer for some private lessons (I'm deaf) where I learned all sorts of new signs and cues for getting my attention (though now I watch my sister Siren alot so I know when they're calling me). This summer I went camping, cottaging, hiking and did a whole lot of swimming in grandpa and grandma's pool. Mom and dad say I must have some fish in me (though I have to have my lifepreserver on). Well that's all for now. I just wanted to thank everyone there, especially my foster mom and dad who were real patient with me too.

Lots of sloppy kisses to all,
Bandit (a.k.a. Harley, a.k.a Moby)

We are now a complete family again. After the devastating illness and death of our boxer Pearl, in August, we thought long and hard about getting a second dog. We are so pleased and blessed that we were able to welcome Roxanne into our lives. We found it hard to believe that this sweet girl from Ohio was given up because the new boy friend did not want her around. Bailey, our Golden, has settled with the fact that she is queen of the house, just like our Pearl was, and he is fine with that. I would recommend rescuing an adult dog for a number of reasons. However we were extremely lucky in that Roxanne was completely safe to be left in the house with Bailey when we go out. (They sleep together on the bed). We are taking her to obedience school to brush up on her skills and learn to come when she is called. She is protective and can get jealous of Bailey (notice she is on my lap in the picture), but he takes it in stride (as a good gentleman should) and we are Happy, happy, happy!!!

Thanks!
