Maverick AKA Maggot (Mags)

We know how much you care for Duffy and so thought we would share a couple more pics of Duffy with his new best friend whose name was Maverick but now Val finally chose Maggot (because he gets into everything)

Duffy and Mag very quickly became great friends, both love tennis balls, boxing, and most of all racing like the wind in the snow. Duffy is one of the fittest and active 8 year old boxers I've ever met.

We love them both very much.

  Duffy

Well Duffy has spent most of the weekend outdoors with us supervisind our tree planting activities.

The Duffster is a beautiful dog he and his buddy Maggot (Mags) play constantly and get on really well together. They often sleep with one laying across the other.

The picture with Val is the dogs on thier own couch which they love.

We were just out playing with our two magnificent dogs. Val suggested it was time to send you a couple of updated pics.

As you will see Duffy A.K.A. Duffer or Duffster, is still addicted to his tennis balls and just loves this game, the only problem is that regardless how many tennis balls we bring out to play Duffy thinks that they are all his. Yes, I have seen him with two balls in his mouth at one time.

Maggot the wannabe alpha male is kept firmly in his place by Duffy but the two of them are great friends, they play together for hours on end.

While Duffy has the strength, Maggot (formally known as Maverick) has great stamina, speed, agility and dexterity. One of our Vets declares that Maggot is a perfect specimen of a Boxer, that may be so but Duffy has the most magnificent character and personality.

I’m sure that Duffy’s owner had a hard time giving up this wonderful dog, please let him know Duffy is in great shape and in good company.

The dogs are rarely left alone and we try to place them in day care one day each week to maintain socialization with other dogs.

As soon as we can guarantee that one or the other of us can be at the farm full time we plan to raid Boxer Rescue for more of these great pets. There are still occasions that require both to attend at our business.
