Like so many dogs lately Maya was found as a stray and her owner never came to get her. I cannot imagine the confusion that these dogs feel when their family does not come and they sleep that first night in the shelter with dogs barking.
Maya has had her vetting completed which includes a general exam, her teeth done, flea/tick medication, heartworm/lyme tested, lumps removed, spayed, vaccinations and fecal and now she is ready to find her foster to adopt family.
Maya does pull a bit on leash, but not reactive and she meet another dog at the shelter that was not really nice to her but she did not react at all.
If you believe Maya would make a great addition to your home please fill out a foster to adopt application for her.
