Available Dogs - Before You Apply
Our application process is now on an individual dog basis. This means that if you see a Boxer or Boxers on the Available Dogs page who you are interested in adopting, then you apply for that specific Boxer(s). Your application will ask if you would like to be considered for another dog if you are not matched with the one that you applied for. If you indicate no, your file will be removed. If you indicate "yes", your application will continue to be considered for matching with other dogs in our program. Please, only submit an application for dogs listed on the Available Dogs page. Our foster dogs are not ready to receive applications as we are still assessing their needs and what home would best suit them. Note too that we will only contact applicants who meet the criteria for the dog(s) they are interested in. Due to the volume of applications we receive, especially for our younger dogs, this is the only way we can successfully manage our workload.
The dogs listed on this page are available for adoption and we are ready to begin reviewing applications for them. Please click on the photo for more information on each available dog. All dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Please read each bio very carefully, as not every rescue Boxer is suited for every home. If you feel that a particular Boxer is a good match for you and your lifestyle, then apply for them through our ONLINE APPLICATION, by clicking on the "APPLY FOR ME" link on their page. Our Available Dogs page is updated regularly, so check back often!
Note: Once the 10 application limit has been reached a dog’s status will change to “adoption pending” and we will no longer receive applications for that dog. If no suitable home can be found among those applications, a dog will be returned to “available” status and we will open the application process again. Boxer Rescue Ontario does not accept applications from adopters with children under the age of 5 years. Applicants who have submitted an application before November 26, 2016 who have children between the ages of 2 and 5 years will be considered.
