Our Friends, Soul Mates, Family, they were there when we needed them most.

In July of 2007 came one of the best things that has ever happened in my life. My boxer Java arrived from her foster home from BRO. We were destined to be together & soon were the best of friends & inseperable. She completed me & I her :). Java was 3 years old & had been abused but had nothing but complete & pure love to give, and that she did daily & unconditionally. I cannot even count the times we enjoyed our off leash dog runs in the country, at grandma & grandpa's & her favourite place ( other than home ) of course the cottage on the lake in Muskoka !! Java began to live when she arrived at her forever home with me. She was loved & loved all, human or animal...she even tried loving my pet Boa Constrictor !! With her my life was grand . However Java became ill in late November of 2011 & it was quickly determined by our wonderful vet that she was not to get better. So with a heavy heart, on December 10, 2011, I held my best friend as she crossed the rainbow bridge so she could be forever leash free & no longer any suffering to be endured. I will always cherish the time we had together & take comfort that Java's ashes have been scattered in her 3 favourite places, at home with daddy in her backyard, at grandma & grandpa's & of course the cottage in Muskoka. RIP my dear, dear best friend & know I look forward to the day when we can meet again. I miss you terribly every day. And I just know you would be so glad to hear & know that daddy has a new friend from BRO named Rosie who has also become a huge part or our extended family.

XXOO Always, Daddy
