  • Description/Info:: Finn is a big goofball and life of the party!! He he quite handsome, with a beautiful frosty coat which is soft and wavy. He loves to be brushed out to maintain his luscious locks. Finn has so much character and he will give you looks with his eyes that almost speak to what he is thinking. He is a big love bug and despite his size he thinks he is a lapdog.

Finn can be a big clumsy oaf and exudes playfulness and energy. Finn would benefit from having a playmate fur sibling who has a matched energy level and a tolerance for his happy intensity and excited play. Finn loves to chase but also loves to be chased and after a good burst of physical play he is ready to curl up beside you or flop on top of you. Finn loves to be touched, whether it is just a hand resting on him or some good rubs or scratches. Finn is very tolerant of handling and is happy to be brushed or offer a paw to be wiped off it needed.

Finn needs a family who understands that he is a bit behind in learning his manners and socialization. Finn thrives with consistency, calmness and patience. Finn learns quickly when things are predictable and while he enjoys treats he loves nothing more than having his face "scruffled" and being told what a good boy he is. Finn needs a family who will embrace his goofball nature and appreciate his need to be close and connected.

Because Finn can be a talker it would be best if he is in home where he can express himself without the stress of worrying about him disturbing or disrupting neighbours. He sleeps through the night without a peep but will give a cheery good morning bark once he knows you are up. Finn gets upset sometimes when people leave him so he will cry or whine a bit but is easily reassured with a head pat by the remaining people in the room and can be easily redirected as well. While Finn manages well in the crate when home alone for a few hours he would also be immensely happy to not have to say goodbye to people too often and would enjoy their company if they were home more often as this allows him to settle in with less transitions.

Finn will need help to continue to learn polite and calm ways to greet new people and fur friends but he is eager to learn and eager to please. Finn will be a loyal and loving pal to whomever opens their home to him and an amazing member of the family. If you are looking for love, loyalty and laughter... Finn is your man!!!!
