  • Description/Info:: Lily came to BRO after we received a call from a lady saying she knew of a boxer that was tied outside to a tree with six babies at her side and that she was thin and needed help. Of course we took her in as no boxer or babies should be outside sleeping in the cold.

    Once we did her bloodwork and seen her ourselves we realized just how badly she was treated - very emaciated and weak. We removed the puppies as they were old enough to eat on their own and we got Lily eating good kibble so that we could get some weight on her.

    She is now in a foster home for a few months to see if her blood work becomes better with love and food and then we will have to treat her heartworm if she becomes healthier.
