  • Description/Info:: Nala has been with us for two weeks but honestly feels like she has been here her entire life, she is very resilient and settled into our home perfectly right from the first day. She loves to be with her people, but she is also independent, she does not need to follow us around to feel safe. She at times can enjoy time away from her people, laying in the sun on a bed in the bay window, or laying in the office while I am in the bedroom.


    Nala is 9 but she still enjoys being active, she loves her daily walks and walks very well on a back harness and leash. She is interested in other dogs but doesn’t like the ones that bark at her. She loves to see and get pets from all the people. She enjoys toys and will select a favorite and will carry it with her around the house.


    She has no difficulties with grooming, she has allowed us to bathe her, cut her nails, brush her and clean her ears, without protest.


    Nala does have a significant chicken allergy and should not be allowed anything with chicken or chicken by product in it. She will need to kept her current food, Purina Pet Plan limited ingredient (salmon) for her to remain symptom free and healthy.


    Nala has been a wonderful house guest and will make her new family very happy.
